What is Dew Point?

A dew point is commonly confused with humidity. Humidity and dew point are not the same, but share similar characteristics. Humidity refers to the amount of atmospheric moisture that would be in the air if it were saturated. Where as   dew point refers to the temperature at which air must be cooled in order to reach saturation.
